Artists Get "Urban Hippie Fresh" at A3C Hip Hop Festival

Hotlanta got a little hotter last Tuesday as artists and lovers of various art forms converged upon the city for the kickoff of the A3C Hip Hop Festival for five days of showcases, film screenings, networking mixers, workshops led by industry leaders, and much more! A3C (All 3 Coasts), which began as a local hip hop showcase, has evolved into an international showcase with an impressive array of music, film, style, education, and pro-audio offerings. In addition to a star-studded performance lineup, the 2013 A3C Hip Hop Festival served up a smorgasbord of over 50 events at some of the hottest venues throughout the city.
A3C invaded the Old 4th Ward on Friday evening for three days of open-air hip hop showcases and a myriad of vendors from around the country. I had the pleasure of working alongside one of my favorite BUDS, Mr. Ed Ross, and the wonderful crew of Urban Hippie, LLC. This Atlanta-based company is already making a global buzz with services that range from lifestyle fashion to
exclusive events, promotions, and cannabis activism. In addition to their customized apparel, stash jars, lighters, and grinders, the dissemination of educational literature is also a vital component of the Urban Hippie mission. So, not only did artists leave "Urban Hippie Fresh", they also left a little smarter! Mr. Ross and his team of self-proclaimed “world jumpers” undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the hundreds of people who either
wandered by slowly to examine the oversized “Why Cannabis is REALLY Illegal” poster, or those who stopped by to show some love and hit the Urban Hippie Hookah.
The overwhelmingly positive response received at the A3C Hip Hop Festival confirmed that the palates of this new generation of politically conscious artists are ready for the flavor this brand brings. Urban Hippie is more than HIGH TIMES & hookahs...it's a movement! Check them out at http://urbanhippieatl.com
